Hitting the Plexiglas Box

Rotating Mirror Pictures
In this picture one can distinctly see the paintball strike the surface of the Plexiglas just as it bursts.
The paintball is just hitting the Plexiglas in this picture as well, but the following overlaid images show the explosion of the paintball.
This picture is interesting because one can distinctly see the fragments of the paintball shell after it hits - they are green.
Again, this an excellent shot of the paintball just as it hits the Plexiglas.
This picture shows the paintball in flight and just as it bursts. If one looks closely, you can see the paint coming out of the paintball in circle around the paintball.
This picture shows how the paintball fragments. The fist image of the paintball in flight and the next just as it the Plexiglas. If one looks close, one can see how the fragments of the shell would fit together.
This picture gives an even better perspective of the paint coming out of the paintball shell. One can clearly see how the paint exits in a ring around the paintball.
Although this a dark picture, it also shows how the paintball is deformed when it hits the Plexiglas before it bursts.
This picture is interesting because one can clearly see how the fragments spread into the air after the paintball hits the Plexiglas.
Although this is also a dark picture, it shows how the size of the paint splat increases over time.
This is an excellent photo of the paintball hitting the Plexiglas and how the paint splat spreads and expands.
This is a photograph of the paint ball just as it strikes Brandon's hand. If one looks close, one can see a small crack in the paintball where the paint is just beginning to come out.

Shooting a Ring Stand

This is a photograph of the paintball hitting a ring stand instead of a sheet of Plexiglas. The ring stand slices the paintball shell into large pieces instead of fragmenting it like the Plexiglas did.

This photograph shows clearly the stages of the explosion of the paintball as it hits the ring stand.

This photograph also shows the progression of the explosion. It is interesting to note how the spray expands in all directions over time.
